Lambourne jest moze 7 libero na swiecie nic specjalnego nie pokazuje bo przyjąc to kazdy libero potrafi. Ale powalczyc w obronie to juz nie kazdy a tym badziej Lambourne.

I believe not only Lamboune but all American team has copied Brazilian way to play volleyball. I whatched this in the WL'08 and also in OG'08. But, of course, they improved modifying some things. For that they won the two last very important tournaments.
Thats just one set. An amazing set, i agree! but in general Richard Lambourne has a more stabil set, his overhand passing is also more stabil. He grabs the ball with a mix of the stabil beachvolley overheadpass and a setter-like touch.
Richard Lambourne has great positioning, and therefore, i belive, gets a lot of digs. One of the reasons i think he is one of the best is also that he is a great secondary setter, if Ball digs the ball, Lambourne easily can set an accruate outside set, and still keep some presure on the middleblocker on the opposite team, for example, see USA - Serbia from the OG i china.
Sergio getting old? He moves like he is twenty and don't let the ball touch the floor digging everything he can reach. No doubt that he is still the best. Lambourne has perfect reception, but he isn't very fast in defence.
Richard Lambourne - second best libero in the world? (after russian, Aleksey Verbov). Of course We must not forget to mention Sergio and Corsano from brazil and italy, but both are getting to old.
