USA - Russia (full game)

Russia, the defending champions, are still looking for their first victory. USA national team won both matches against Russian national team on the third week of the World League 2014. They won in the first game in tie-break and in the second game in three sets. After games in Long Beach, USA coach John Speraw said: "I am pleased we were able to go 2-0 this weekend. Obviously losing Reid (Priddy) last week was going to be a challenge to see who was going to fill that spot and how we would replace his leadership. I certainly feel like we did a good job with that. I think Sean Rooney and Paul Lotman over the course of these two matches did a good job. I think it is a nice experience to play at home. We are very grateful to play in Southern California. We train here and all our families are here. It was a really nice atmosphere and we really appreciate the opportunity to play here in front of a big crowd".
