It's beggining of the 7th round of Brazilian League 2013/2014. UFJF defeated Moda Maringa in 3 sets to 1 (21:19, 10:21, 21:18, 25:23). The middle-blocker Jardel was considered the MVP of the match. The top scores were the opposite Lorena and the spiker Renato, both of Maringá, with 15 points. For Jardel, this second victory on the season was a result of the training during the period of pause of Superliga: "We worked very hard during this period of pause and we got three points. Moda Maringá is a very strong team and will dispute with us a place on the play-offs, our major goal this season" - declared Jardel after the match. UFJF has now 7 points (7th place) and Moda Maringa is still in 5th place with 12 points.

On this video you can see the duel between the Gelinski brothers. That evil Rachel would say, “It’s good cuz any of the losing teams can put the blame on the Polaco”. She’s so mean! Thank God I’m not like her. Tiago Gelinski plays for the B national team (won gold at the worlds with the junior NT in 2007), while his bro (Danilo) was called by Bernardinho to train with the A squad.
