Tsvetan Sokolov (2nd movie)

Tsvetan Sokolov made an amazing performance in 2012 and 2013. The young bulgarian player is already one of the biggest volleyball stars in the world. He joined Trentino in season 2008/09. At first he was reserve player of Leandro Vissotto, then Jan Stokr. He wanted to show his great play and signed contract with Bre Banca Cuneo in that season. In 2012 scored with Bulgaria 4th place at the Olympics and showed his great abilities. In 2013 he led Cuneo to the final of Champions League and almost he won it, but the great drama at the end gave him only silver medal. He played as middle-blocker and spiker in some of matches in Italian Serie A 2012/13. Sokolov scored 405 points in 22 matches (regular season - 18 points per game). He's one of the favorites for the "Best player" in Bulgaria for 2012/2013. Watch in HD ;-)

@Kjeldhor - Shhhhh....I was building a good atmosphere for his birthday!!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY,CECO!!!!!!! Yeah,there have been times where he's gone in as a sub and didn't play better than Jan,but in important games he does the job that's required of him - he was very important in the semi-final of the WCCH 2010 against Peykan,when Stokr fumbled and Trento's attack decreased a lot,then in the last set of the CL final and most recently against Cuneo :) Anyway,I also don't consider him a star yet and I agree with you that he needs a lot of work to reach his potential :) How was the pizza last night? :D Thanks to you that was all I could think about while I was eating my boring soup...haha

@proud not every time: when he got a chance from the starting six he usually got a great perform, but when we really need him (when Stokr is playing bad) he should show his best but a lot of time he was a disaster ad Rado puti in Stokr again. He just have to adjust that and he'll become from a promise to a great opposite, but I know he's really young (today is his birthday, 22 Happy birthday to Tsetso) just another season or two in Trento and maybe last one in a medium level team and he's ready to be a champion

Expect of mental abilities his better than Nikolov. I think with that performance he would be one of the best of the world.

Sokolov has higher reach for sure:) That's not the most important, but those are not relliable informations.

In my opinion he's more valuable than Vlado Nikolov. I don't understand why Tsvetan is second opposite player in national team ;|
