Second match of quarter-final of Italian Serie A between Trentino Volley and Vibo Valentia. The hosts were a favorite of that battle. Niels Klapwijk in the second set sprained his ankle. haness, a lot of other teams had amazing squads - Piacenza with Marshall, Zlatanov, Cuneo with Wijsmans and Parodi, Zenit with Mikhaylov, Ball, Skra with Kurek and Wlazly but it was Trentino who got most of the titles

Pfffff, if a look of another player makes you surrender than you have a very weak mentality, even if I would play against him I would have no fear he is not gonna kill me after all :D And he is not more feared than Zaytsev, Kaziyski, Simon and a few other guys ;) Yes Stoychev has a huge role in Trentino's success, but where would he be without his 2 pillars? If Matey or Osmany would leave than they would have little chances of winning against Macerata. But he has a really good eye for young players ;)

I'll tell you who is MVP in Trentino - Stoychev is. Players come and go but tropheys are won every year even when the federations are trying everything to stop that. The team is not wih the best players on every post but continues to surprise the opponents and to display high level of volleyball. Some players from that team are unrecognisable in their NT's. I know who should be pointed after almost every match but the only thing he gets is hatred, not recognition.

Osmany's middle name is MVP. The only way not to get it is not to appear on the court. It doesn't matter that now Kaziyski has the deciding serve or that he doesn't spike with 75% or that he receives worse than previous years. All that matters is that he is feared. The very look of him makes the opponents surrender.
