Finalist of last year edition of World Club Champs Sada Cruzeiro faced Tunisian Sportif Sfaxien (Africian Club Champion 2012/13) in front of Brazilian fans. Joandry Leal and Wallace Souza from Cruzeiro each scored 11 points. Sada Cruzeiro are leaders of Group B now. Tomorrow they will play their most important game against Winner of European Champions League Lokomotiv Novosibirsk. On the press conference, Marcelo Mendez, coach of Sada Cruzeiro said: "I am very happy with the qualification to the semifinal round. The team is improving and today we worked quite well in the attacks and the services improved but we still need to do better against the stronger teams like the Russian and the Italian sides".
