Highlights with great Polsat's camera shots from final game between Russia and Italy in the European Championships 2013. 7000 volleyball fans from around the world watched final of EuroVolley 2013 live at Parken Stadium. There is first Champion title for Russia (don't confuse with USSR) in European Champs (USSR won 12 titles, last in 1991 in Germany after final against Italy). With this success, Russia also got the right to represent Europe at the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup scheduled for this coming November in Kyoto and Tokyo, Japan. Russia and Italy won also tickets for the next World Champs 2014. Russians showed that they are the best without their leader Maxim Mikhaylov (imagine how strong they will be when he will return the team after rehabilitation). Russian middle-blocker: Dmitriy Muserskiy was announced the best player of EuroVolley 2013 Russian team wins almost every title on the international level in last few years.

Zaytsev is a beast

@hanus: yes, Zaytsev is usually a beast but he wasn't on that occasion. Vettori was! I was there for the F4 and my impression was that Ivo missed his chance whereas Luca hit the mark. Too much pressure on Zizzo's shoulders maybe. Anyway, Russia was great: every single player (except Spiridonov) showed his best, Musersky was superb. Italy tried to fight but they made too many mistakes (when serving mainly) and playing with Parodi and Savani half injured didn't help them. The funniest thing was that at a certain point, the match was Russia vs Vettori cause he was the only one able to score.

I hate you Spiridonov! XD

Muserskiy is the man who is making the difference, just like Simon did for Cuba

@raylight: Not Only Muserskiy, Pavlov pretty good hitter, I don't know who is better he or Mikhailov, Grankin had good passing, recievers was very good especially sivozhelez and verbov, spiridonov just crazy

But he is - the best

@crespito: Russia had done a lot as a team to get golds, but Muserskiy is game changer. Put scary MB for the team and this is huge leverage, just like with Cuba. Strong MB's can be so good spikers that all other attackers have more space to score or like Todorov can solve a match with blocks and the mere presence on the net will contribute to the other team's errors in attack
