Rennes Volley 35 2012/13 promo

The greatest star of that team in current season is Estonian Oliver Venno. He replaced Adrian Gontariu in the middle of the season (December 2012). As reported the official website of Rennes Volley 35 Gontariu had terminated the contract, but unofficial sources said that Romanian player was dissatisfied with his place in the team (he was only reserve player). According to French press reports Adrian was behaving like a star and he was making nervous atmosphere in the team. President of the club, Thibault Mativet said that the main culprit of weak attitude of the team was Adrian! He said: "Gontariu is great player, but his shape isn't on the highest level. He cheated us. For our team and our partners it would be better if we will make changes." Adrian didn't commented that situation. He wasn't playing in starting six and wing-spikers were playing on his position! Rennes Volley took 8th place in the regular season. In quarter-final they faced Tours VB (1st place in the table) and Rennes won it! Tomorrow there will be second match between these teams in Tours.
