In the first semi-final of Italian Cup in Bari, Lube recovered from a 0:1 in sets to take revenge on Modena for the recent defeat in Serie A, 3:1 (17:25, 26:24, 25:21, 25:21). Interestingly, unlike the game in which they beat Lube, six days ago, Modena now had both Earvin N'Gapeth and Giulio Sabbi at the disposal. Tsvetan Sokolov scored 24 points for Lube, while Andrea Argenta made 100% in attack (8/8). But, unfortunately for him and Modena fans, he got injured in the second set.
