Zenit Kazan completed a perfect campaign in Group D of the Champions League 2014/15 on Wednesday night to their sixth straight victory and finishing the Elimination Round without loosing any set. On Wednesday they beat Germany’s VfB Freidrichshafen 3:0 (25:21, 25:22, 25:22). VfB won that action but once again Zenit was better in the final stretch and could celebrate their sixth straight 3:0 victory in the competition. "We are lucky to have made the Playoffs", Moculescu acknowledged. "We showed a really good performance tonight against one of the world’s best teams even though we lost in three sets, so at the end of the day I am satisfied".
