Australia beat Itan 3:0 (27:25, 27:25, 25:22) in the third round of the World Cup at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on Monday. Paul Carroll earned the Most Impressive Player award with his 24-point performance. Shahram Mahmoudi led the Iran team with 21 points.
