Poland won their second game in 24 hours with a close-fought 3:1 win over Italy in Pesaro. Dawid Konarski led the winning team scroring 17 points, 12 from spikes and 5 from blocks. Captain Michał Kubiak added 13 points for the 2014 World Champions, while Filippo Lanza put 14 points on the board for the home team.
