Italy in Volleyball Nations League 2018

Team from Italy is out of Final Round in VNL 2018. Italy still had a chance of qualifying for the final 6 but after Poland beat Australia it was mathematically impossible. Italy finish the round robin in 8th position which is way below what they would have been expecting from their 15 matches and with a home World Championships to come later this year they will be looking to raise their level significantly if they are to match the heights of 2016 when they finished up Olympic silver medallists.
