Brazil has defeated Iran in the second game in Tehran 3:2 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 23:25, 15:10). However, Brazilians can’t be fully satisfied with the score because they had a huge chance to take all three points from this match. Away squad had 2-0 lead, but at the end had to save the match in a tie-break. Perhaps, that one point could decide many things about qualification to the Final Six. Iran captain Saeid Marouf praised his teammates for their brave performance against Brazil: “We saw the real Brazil tonight. I’m happy that we lost to Brazil’s excellent performance rather that our own mistakes."
