@casamodena: thanks. Did you watch M.Roma-Macerata? If you did you'll understand that Lebl performe in serve in Modena is his standard xD (well, I'm laughing, but actually I should cry.... I know 16 years-old guys [even girls!]that serve waaay better=.=)
1. Lebl: when he played in Macerata he lose some weight, but whit weight he lose his powerfull attack, so we know he play better when he is little overheight.
2. no, u can't compare Roma whit Macerata, this year Macerata is really a great team, but they are weakness in reception (exept for Exiga, but Savani an Parodi are both a pure hitter)
3. If u don't see the match it's hard to believe, but Juanto is better as a receiver ?
I don't care if Lebl is overwight or not, I just care that he is ridicoulus in serve =.=
Bulgarian Federation let Zlatanov and Baev to play for Italy and Greece and they are World Class players, with them the gold wouldn't be so far away

Latina is defintly more interesting than I though it would be, Prandi is doing a nice job imo.
On the other hand, the chemistry I loved in Cuneo is gone, at least for now. They are strong, but... I don't know... The are also quite boring in a cartain way...

Modena is impressive! Tomorrow they have a chance to be alone at the top of the classific! I expected it would have been more difficult for them to win.
I was surprised about Belluno-San Giustino, I expected at least a longer match, probably also a victory by San Giustino.
Padova collapsed at the end of the match, but it's fair that Verona won, even simply because of Gasparini 11 aces (!!!!! new record!!!!!! poor Sava xD)

I'm by myself amazed about Modena's performances.. another 3-0, 12 won sets only 1 lost, Dick Kooy best spiker of serie A with 68% attack average (tonight another terrific 81% on 16 attempts, 75% reception, 4 aces), and Anderson 3rd with 57% .. Who would have it ever thought? Yeah, we didn't face top teams till now, and Piacenza had serious lineup problems in this match, but I did not see my team playing like this since last season's semifinals vs Trentino or last scudetto in 2002. Keep me calm as I can wait no more for the 29th to come for the match vs Trento.. none of our matches was broadcasted, but trust me, it will be very hard for them to win.. sure it will be an exciting battle on each point.
And in any case, let the best win ..whatever happens volleyball makes you feel unique emotions and that's the why (in my opinion) it is the best sport of the world!
@Overlook & Kjeldhor: I think that Macerata is the real opponent for Trento this year too!!

Very good match by Lube.. but would it really end this way if Trento would get more rest days? I don't think so. With quite less reception mistakes the match would have been different.
Yes, Lube and Modena had an impressive seasonal start and Trento is the usual league's team-to-beat that all us know.
Some surprises at the top.. but at the bottom? Rome? Piacenza? Difficult to expect a worst beginning...
Well, I'm sooo glad that Macerata won! yuppieee! ? As others said, I think Macerata is Trento main opponents! But it's true that Modena seems to be in excellent shape. Cuneo has a very nice roster, but if their chemistry is the one they showed vs Latina .. :S
@pearl, yes, I'm from Roma, this evening I watch the match in a local tv and I'm so proud of my guys!!! Very nice match, they've never stop believing they could win (24-21,24-24,25-24,26-25,27-26,27-29 in the first set!! And not with Vibo help, exept the last spike-error by Nikolov), they defended very well and kept alive a lot of difficult ball, they served well (Lebl with his horrible float serve: no errors, 1 half ace on Cernic -priceless!- one ace!), blocked well (in the 3rd set very well!), great match by Ivan (78% in attack, he saved like 3 Vibo set point in the first set, nice serve, nice block, nice reception), and Sabbi played very well too, 62% in attack and good match overall (serve, block, also simply the way he stayed on court). Paparoni, how the hell a missed him!!!! ? Good double changes Bencz-Paolucci (they both helped the team), good Bjelica finally, helpful and experienced Cisolla (he played titoular) etc... I'm so glad! ?
I'm waiting for Cuneo chemistry to be back too?
yes, Macerata won over the aliens, but tired aliens. I think that now Trento is still stronger than Macerata,it's more organized; but considering that Macerata changed a lot and Trento only 1 MB (and what MB!) in the starting six (or better seven, or even better eight if we count also Colaci! ), may be Macerata can improve more than Trento... (also the coach!!)
(and they still have Sokolov, Zygadlo and Della Lunga that are very important subs for Trento)

About Rai schedule, you're right, but I think that they can/chose to trasmitt a certain match only once, so we can may be expect that they will trasmitt Lube-Trento in the second phase... Last year was like that, if I'm not wrong.

A nice battle, but finally the most experienced team won.
How strange is that in Ravenna's team nobody between Quiroga,Gruszka and Verhanneman isn't still a team leader. Sad to see such a crowd cheering for the whole game for losing again at home..
