65 years since the founding of the World Volleyball Federation.

In Paris, from 18 - 20 April 1947 was held the founding FIVB Congress. in founding FIVB was involved representatives of 14 countries: Belgium, Brazil, Czechoslovakia, Egypt, France, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Uruguay, USA and Yugoslavia.
Today FIVB is the largest sports organization in the world with 220 member countries.
