The current Olympic champions had the control in three sets. Wallace de Souza scored 21 points for the winners. For China Shuhan Rao finished with 11 points. Lipe Fonteles, player of Brazil said: "We came determined to make a good game. We knew that technically we are a little bit stronger than China. We came focused and we gave 100% to make our job done well".
