Great battle between: Zaytsev and Sokolov. The best scorers in the Intercontinental Round! Ivan Zaytsev, who scored 215 points for Italy, and Tsvetan Sokolov who scored 209 points in 12 matches, they played great game. Zaytsev led Italy’s scoring with 19 points but Sokolov was best scorer in that match with 27 points which represented close to 30 percent of Bulgaria’s points! After their loss to Italy, Bulgarian spiker Tsvetan Sokolov, said: "We knew that the match against Italy would be really difficult for us, we didn't play well in the first set but then I think we played good volleyball.
