Both teams deserved to win,but our team made some stupid mistakes in important moments.Maybe this error by Aleksiev in secound set was the key moment.Matey made 1 ace when the score was 22-23 and his secound serve gave a chance for Aleksiev to counter atack.The ball was very easy,but he hit the net...24-23 for us and serve by Matey,when the cubinian players was very week mentally,because of our 6-7 points(i didn't remember exactly) comeback,I was sure that we will win the set and maybe the match,who knows...:)

Highlight of the match: middle blocker of Bulgaria misses a penalty for running out to 17-11! :)

Bulgaria could beat Cuba but they threw away the comeback they made in the second set against the Cubans and for that reason should have been almost certain defeat. In a tie break is very difficult to beat the Cubans this year only lost two tie-break and were in the world league.

Revan we talked about Brazil and that bloody match with Bulgaria hundred times here, also about Russia, Italy and all these obvious things you wrote know, so before you will judge us for, I don't know exactly what, maybe you should do a little research on website. So our little gentleman I have no idea what is your problem now, because as you maybe noticed Cuba has a lot of fans here and I don't know anyone who said that they cheated, everybody admire their game on WC.

I'm not so angry and recognize the truth that the final game was the most boring of all the world championship and also a great disappointment, I knew that Brazil was the champion and I'm content with second place for me was well deserved, but this team, ladies and gentlemen in the future may be one of the best in the world, which already is. Cuba did not reach a major final since 2000 in the World League against Italy, and honored that these guys still inexperienced went that far, for me the most interesting games of the World Championship did Cuba and Bulgaria and also know that this championship the world was badly organized, Italy did not deserve to be in the semifinals. Bulgaria and Russia were better than Italy. Brazil won the World Cup, but what made 3x0 left win against Bulgaria, and also playing with Giba was nothing honest, but nobody talks about anything because they won the World Cup? do not make me laugh, Russia also sold their game against Spain for not dropping the group was going to play in Cuba with Brazil and the Brazilian did the same, Cuba just played and won a sweat shirt to go far. Revan easy man! :) No one says Cuba is crap, but you can't tell that final was on better level than for example that match. History with Cuba on WC was similar to history with Poland on WC 2006. We had dramatic for us match with Russia when we fought for semi-finals, when Russia won 2:0, but we won it 3:2 and in the final we were only background for Brasil. Cuba is young team, but I believe if they stay in this squad till OG 2012 they will be much, much, much more stronger and dangerous. Cheers.

WL2003 Brazil - Serbia final... That was awesome indeed, a lethal tie-break. I was watching it in a caravan during holidays. Thanks guys for reminding me that game, I've got to see this once again. @Henrique true, I didn't want to blame Toshko over and over again, but hell yes- I'm quite sure Cuba wouldn't have risen in the 3nd set.

Revan u're wrong there are so many other teams - young and ready for the big scene. Look the team of the Argentina for example , they are 1st in the Junior ranking. Or the team of the Czech - They had an amazing WC for them and I was suprised of their game.

This is for camnow the poland who says the game of the final ''make he creep '' Listen cuba was the team most young of the tournamente they was the only team who defeat brasil in the tournament whith all the rules for me the game brasil vs bulgaria was a Joke that game really for me make me cry and laught second the cuban Players doesnt play in ohter leagues the poland play in poland , russian turkey etc and that is impressive , second place and Poland ??? 12 ??? come on if you wanna talk seriously I invite you see all games of the cuban in the WC . Cuba is the next king you will see soon , only brasil and Russia can defeat Cuba , we win Against Serbia , Bulgaria and Poland 3 times in 2010 and two times was in poland . talk to me when the 2012 games olympics finished.

Three the best matches on WC were with Cuba: Brazil - Cuba in group round, Bulgaria - Cuba and Serbia - Cuba in semi-final in Rome, but for me that one was the best and the most dramatic match of that tournament. After Poland failed, I supported both teams and after that match I had enough volleyball, I'm glad there were two days of break between 3rd round and finals, cause it would be hard to watch it. Great job NightFox and thanks, that you didn't show Kazyiski's tears, cause that would be to much for me even now, few months after WC.
