@ spiridoncheto >> I agree with you. Serbia was not motivated to play against Russia. Bulgaria should act more powerfull against Russians.

We more deserved to be in final round instead of Serbia. :( Yesterday the result would be diffrent, maybe 3:2 for Russia or for us...

RenanZ,yesterday i wathced Cuba against Italy, and the "towel boys" were called by the 2 teams maybe just 4-5 times .If you watched again our mathes, you will see that only yours team called the boys maybe 10-15 times.Don't you thing it's strange?

I do not have the answer, I must say, I can't tell for sure whether it was fair or unfair

Renan, there is interesting ethical dilemma for the last game. Brazil played on 100% of its potential to beat us in the last game, after the result Serbia - Italy was known. This fair play assisted to the unfair play of Italy and the question is - is it fair to be fair, when that is conscious help for the unfair?

spiridoncheto OK, let go step by step:-> When a player is all sweaty and fall (or dig) into the ground, it get's slippery, and that is a big bad thing. So that's why the players call the "towel boys" That 'strange' condition of SWEATY occurs with ALL PLAYERS, in ALL MATCHES, even if they are classified or not to an final round of any kind of tournament. So, it looks like you are trying to "find feathers in a egg".! Sorry, but I can't be more clear than that. If you still think that we won due Fairless play, sorry, but you doing it wrong !!!

Yes,but it's difficult to keep your mind, when 7500 peope expect nothnig but a win. It's normal to call the "towel boys",but brazilian players do that after every bulgarian point when the difference was 1-2 points...And once again:Why they do that in the secound match, when they were already classified? Why they didn't play fair, like first two matches, when we play fair, without hold up?

spiridoncheto. Sorry dude, by I strongly disagree with you. Not just phisical conditions and technique, but the best players always have a great mind control. I'm not saying that they don't get angry or furious, but that they know how control their anxiety and jitters in tough moments. And of course, call the "towel boys" or the referees to check the positioning is just methods used by experienced players to avoid the opposite team "grow" on the game. !!!!

Brazil doesn't have substitutes for the current generation on opposite and outside hitter position, at least it appears so. They will always excel at setter and MB positions of course :)

It is not fear play, it is fair play. No one can win with fear in his heart :)

What I wanted to say is that Brazi tried only one inexperienced player - Tiago Alvesh and he did bad on attack and reception, he was good only on serve. We had 4 new guys - Todorov, Sokolov, Nikolov, and Bratoev and all of them did exceptionally well. Sokolov had 90 of 150 attack and had 60% against all three other teams in the group, the level of the opponent didn't influence his attack.

Brazilian team is the best in the world, but when they see that they can't win with fear play, they started to hold up the game.In last two mathes between Bulgaria and Brazil in Varna, before every bulgarian serve, brazilian players call the kids or they check the formation, just to nervous our team.In first match that was more acceptable, because both of the teams, were not classified for the final round. But in secound match Brazil continue to play this way, even that they were already classified for the final round...They didn't show fear play, which is not normal for the best in the world... :( Italian players also didn't show fear play...In secound match against Serbia, result was 0:2 for them, and after that they take out all titulars, and lost 3:2...:@

Valeu!!!

But you know, 26 year old isn't OLD age. You can see GIBA and DANTE, 34 and 30 years old, and they can play as boys. Obviously not as before, but they still have much "gas to burn"... Even in Bulgaria, like Vladmir N., Salparov and Zekhov; !!!

Vincent, where did you see young players on the pitch? Sidao, who is 27, or Visotto, who is 26? These are their youngsters, ours are 20 years young and for this two cases - with bigger potential

Renan, thanks for the answer. We have always been among top 5 in the world, since 1949. Some of the best players of all time are Bulgarians, like Dimiter Zlatanov, Lubo Ganev, Matey Kazyiski. The question is can we get a gold medal from world or European event in this olympic cycle? :)

Hey Raylight. Yeah, Bulgaria has a lot to improve them selves. But I Believe they need to leave back a little of old Eastern europe's Style of game. You know, TALL and strong players are good to have on hands, but that doesn't necessary enough to reach the top. I believe if the Bulgaria's coach could introduce a fast / quick type of team, like Bernardo did and still doing with Brazil since 2001, they can easily reach among the TOP 5 in the world !!!!

Raylight, I believe this new generation of Bulgarian players has a brilliant future, Sokolov, Bratoev, N. Nikolov, and of course, Todorov impressed me a lot. You are one of the strongest forces of the world , and, of course, I see always great chances to bring titles home. I must say that I respect and admire Bulgarian volleyball, after all, for years, we learned so much with you and other tradional forces as Russia and Poland. What can you guys tell me about Silvano Prandi? I mean, in my opinion, Stoev was doing a great job... And I would like to know about Konstantinov... Is he doing something related to volleyball? I´m a big fan of him...

Bom Rachel..

Fiquei chateada... Lembrei do que você disse outro dia...

Bratoev is the one, who decided the game with Netherlands in ECH 2009, which sent us on the semifinals. He has very powerful serve and makes a lot of aces in the most critical moments of the game, he is better than Kaziyski and Alexiev on reception and spikes very intelligently. Prandi last year said about him that he never knew anyone else who knows exactly when to use power and when to make block-out in attack at that age and that he is one of the biggest talents in the World. He was very good in Seria A2 last year, in top for servers, with good attack, block and reception stats. He even made 9 aces in one game, most of them at the end of the sets

Eto go udarat na Bratoev:

This is Teodor Todorov. He is 208 cm tall, has 380 reach and 350 block and he is 20 years old He was the best MB in CHL in the group stage with CSKA Sofia and he was one of the main reasons the Bulgarian team to qualify for the next stage when they met Resovia from Poland.
