It's very hard to make a call becasue, if the ball is in our half of the court it's our point because they are interfering with the set like Joel said ... and I think the refferee didn't want to make a such important decision, so he let the play go ...

Zhekov was backcourt. This is quite a bad call to decide the 3rd set of the match.

Even if the ref doesn't know what happened, if a backcourt setter and an opposing blocker touch the ball above the plane of the net at the same time, the whistle needs to blow. Either Brazil was penetrating the net and interfering with the set, so its Bulgaria's point, or there is a back row violation on the setter for essentially 'blocking' the ball. Even if Brazil didn't touch the ball its still Brazil's point, a backrow setter is not allowed to play the ball over the net from in front of the attack line unless he contacts the ball from below the net, certainly not the case.

So the only way that this is not a bad call is if Zhekov didn't touch the ball at all, and well he obviously did. And Brazil was definitely not penetrating the net. And if they were, well the play should have stopped regardless.

And its kind of annoying to see all the fans celebrating this. This is the equivalent to having a backrow rightside player attack the ball from 5 feet in front of the attack line, and get away with it because the ref didn't realize he was in fact a backrow player when it happened.

By the way, what were the commentators saying?

If it is an attack, what is the problem? He didn't cross the net?

He touched it and ball came to the other side what is taken as an attack, so referee should notice that..

But.. did the backrow setter not just touch the ball and play it over? Or am I missing something here?

Also, the judges didn't give yellow cards to Resende on numerious occasions in the first match. At the second, both Resende and Prandi got yellow cards, but that was the only sharp reaction of Prandi and standard behavior from Resende. The Brazilian coach is very emotional and if the judges were exact, we could get many yellow cards in the games. I like maniacs, but the rules don't

I don't think that the judges helped Bulgaria more than they helped Brazil. There were couple of aces deeply in the field, which were called out in favor of Brazil.

Gdyby tak dobrze się przyjrzeć, to Żekow wykonał jakby przypadkowy blok, a że był w 2 linii to było to niedozwolone

Chyba sędziowie trochę pomogli w tej akcji Bułgarii, wiadomo gospodarzom zawsze się trochę pomaga, a ten gwóźdź dosyć solidny

Można powiedzieć: spektakularna akcja. Każdy marzy o tym by w ten sposób zakończy seta.
A co do reakcji Rezende to... hmm ciężka sprawa. Żekow na pewno był w drugiej linii. Nie podjął próby ataku w "normalnym" tego słowa znaczeniu, ale w myśl przepisów każde przebicie piłki na stronę przeciwną jest atakiem. Z kolei każdy atak zawodnika nad linią taśmy z pola ataku i zawodnik ten jest w drugiej lini powoduje utratę punktu dla jego drużyny. Chyba, więc Rezende miał rację.

Chyba masz rację, na pewno był w 2. lini, bo 3 atakujących nachodzi do ataku.. Dziwne, że sędziowie nie wychwycili..
