Iran defeated Tunisia 3:1 in the World Cup at Hamamatsu Arena. Iran coach Slobodan Kovac said: "We continue to play bad volleyball. I hope and wish from tomorrow we are better because in this situation I don’t see anything positive. We must have more confidence and try to play much better than yesterday and today". Ghafour with 24 points was best player (19 spikes, three blocks and two service aces), while Marouen Garci led Tunisia with 21 points. Iran led Tunisia on all fronts with 49-42 attacks, 14-8 blocks, and 8-3 service aces.
