Sergey Grankin and Alexey Spiridonov great action

One of great plays presented by duo Grankin - Spiridonov in that tournament. After drawing for the third round Alexey wrote on his twitter: "I feel sorry for Polacks". His team lost games in that round against Brazil and Poland. Russia finished solidly to take the fifth place, after defeating Iran in three sets. It is a small comfort for Andrey Voronkov squad which therefore managed to repeat the result from four years ago, when Russia was 5th in the World too. However, this is the third consecutive World Championship in which "Sborna" stayed without a medal.
