Aleksandar Atanasijevic scored 20 points to lead his side to a comeback over leaders Brazil who despite Wallace De Souza's 24 points, were defeated despite taking a 2:0 lead in the game. Nikola Grbic, coach of Serbia said: "To win against Brazil is a true miracle. The first two sets they had almost 90% efficiency in attack, they were impeccable. But, we remained in the game and that is our true virtue. We waited for our moment, and we seized it.
