Our new Big! (2.00m, in Belgium this is big for a Receiver) Belgian Talent after Verhanneman. He replaced Verhanneman, who plays in Italie for the moment, but overal he's doing better than Verhanneman. This guy scores more than, and he was multiple times rewarder as Man of the Match or 'Roeselare's Hero' because thanks to him a match that seem to be lost, thanks to his effort they won it anyway Paulides (NED) is same level as him, but he can play on all positions so for me that makes Paulides a better overall player than Deroo. This guy won't play long in Belgium, he's going to be better than Verhanneman, and maybe he already is, but belgium is not his future.. Italie is his dream One negative point. His caracter, I heared from many guys that Deroo knows he is good, if you know what i mean I like more the kind of players 'Never fly high, stay with your 2 feet on the ground'

At the age of 20 he has better ball control than most of our league players. It's always pleasure to watch someone who doesn't rely on luck while spiking, or at least tries not to.

So Tande is a newscaster now?? I'm not surprised; lots of players, after they've withdrawn, become newscaster or tv commentators. Here in Italy we've got Claudio Galli, Andrea Lucchetta, Consuelo Mangifesta (just to mention a few names) and also Fefè De Giorgi and Lollo Bernardi did this when they hadn't a team to train.

Pearl, you might not recognize him once he’s bald now. He works as a sports newscaster – a bad one, BTW.

Interesting player...unfortunately i still haven't had many opportunities to watch him playing.

@HCLT: i haven't noticed that...but you might be right about his similarity with Tande (gotta check on YT ahah...just to refresh my mind!!). And, of course, I remember Samuel Tande (another Milano's player )...i perfectly remember both the holes on the courts he made on many italian sportshalls and his lovely fair curls
