Serbia overcame Peru 3:0 (25:10, 25:17, 25:10) on the third day of the World Cup at Matsumoto City Gymnasium. On the press conference, Serbia coach Zoran Terzic said: "First, I want to congratulate my team. I remember over the last 10 years we have played Peru many times and every time it was very difficult, usually going to five sets. Today, we played very well. I think we are in good shape and it doesn’t matter if we play with our first six players or some substitutes, we played well and I’m really happy and satisfied how we played today. We played well in all element".
