Japan won their first victory in Group A beating Thailand 3:0 (25:21, 25:22, 25:22) at the Huamark Indoor Stadium on Saturday. Thailand captain Wilavan Apinyapong said: "Congratulations to Japan team. We tried to play according to the plan but Japan can play really well so it’s really hard for us to win this game. We still have many errors today, and we’ll try to learn from it and get ready for tomorrow’s game".
