Leonel Marshall fantastic set

In one action in the first set, second contact with the ball belonged to Cuban Leonel Marshall, wing-spiker of Arkas Izmir and he did something extraordinary. None of Polish players expected that. Only he could decide on play like setter ;-) Team from Kędzierzyn-Koźle played without some players (Zagumny and Ruciak). Even though they have been plagued by injuries over the course of the last few weeks, Kędzierzyn won that game in three sets! "We had a very clear tactical plan and we did stick to it,” says Sebastian Swiderski coach of Kędzierzyn-Koźle. "We tried to work on our block to stop Gavin Schmitt and we managed to achieve this goal. Moreover, we performed well also in defence and this further explains our victory tonight". Arkas Izmir will have a very tough task to cope with next week in Turkey in order to progress to the Playoffs 1/4 of the Cev Cup 2014/15.
