Last point (Tours VB - Trentino Volley)

Tours VB completed a mission impossible as the French team stormed back after losing the first round of the CEV Cup in straight sets to claim their rematch with Trentino Volley bt 3:1 (31:29, 22:25, 25:22, 25:23) and also the all-deciding Golden Set (15:13) to celebrate their second European trophy in history. They had previously taken the much-coveted crown of the Champions League in 2005 in Thessaloniki. The home hero, team captain and eventual MVP of the Finals, Czech opposite David Konecny, bid farewell to Tours VB in the best way after spending as many as nine seasons with the French team.
