Miyu Nagaoka and Sarina Koga teamed-up to lift Japan to a 3-0 (25-17, 26-24, 25-17) win over their Asian rivals Korea in the second round of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Cup at the Sendai Gymnasium on Monday. Japan scorers had an excellent stint on the court as four players scored in double figures. Miyu Nagaoka and Sarina Koga led Japan with 15 points each, while Korea’s Kim Yeon-Koung produced the same output but only got big help from Kim Hee-Jin, who finished with 13 points.
