Argentina denied hosts Japan a win on the opening day of the final round of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Cup 2015 at the Yoyogi Stadium on Monday, notching a 3-0 (26-24, 25-22, 25-21) win. A 12,000-strong crowd were in attendance, but Nambu Masashi’s side could not deliver as Luciano De Cecco conducted a well-oiled Argentine attack. Facundo Conte led the scorers with 13, ably supported by Sebastian Sole on 12.
