First Australia celebrated a historic win over Italy, then Italians celebrated an impressive revenge. Emmanuele Birarelli, captain of Italy said: "The key of tonight’s match has been to lower the percentage of errors than last Friday. Physically, we are still recovering from the past club season and every player is doing its best at the present moment, some of us technically, others tactically". Roberto Santilli, coach of Australia added: “We had a lack of serenity in the sets’ key moments. We showed a lower level in our game but, after all, it was a good and challenging experience at the international level for my young players".
