In another thrilling match at Kraków Arena, France beat Iran in four sets (25:18, 14:25, 25:19, 27:25). Anything that coach Slobodan Kovac did during the game couldn't help Iran to avoid defeat. Laurent Tillie - France coach said: "We've spent the last two days working on our mental strength and team spirit, because if we want to win we need to play 100% every time, every match. We know how good Iran can play. They are stronger than us, but if they give us just one chance, we have to take it and that's what we did today. I have to give credit to my setter and spikers for how they were fighting today. I actually told Toniutti to observe the way Marouf plays. Maybe this helped us today".
