Bartman is really weak at this moment, he was favorite of Anastasi and he expelled him, Bartman can leave national team forever. Rzeszów didn't want to talk with Zibi about new contract, that's why he is in Italy, all our attackers in Plusliga were better than Zibi honestly...

On September 14, 2009 he was awarded The Order of Polonia Restituta. The Order was conferred on the following day by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk. Kurek began his career in a team from Nysa (2004-2005) where he played with his father (Adam Kurek was setter), then he moved to Kedzierzyn-Kozle (2005-2008). He played for Skra Bełchatów from 2008-2012, where he won both Championship and Polish Cup for the season 2008/2009. In the Champions League 2011/12, Kurek won the Best Spiker award, and the silver medal, playing with Skra Bełchatów and after that season he moved to Russian Dynamo Moscow. Kurek in match between Iskra and Dynamo in second round of Russian Superliga sprained his ankle. After that injury he wasn't so effective in Russian Superliga and Champions League. In season 2013/14 he will play for the first time in Italy (Lube Banca Macerata). Bartosz Kurek played with the Polish squad who won the Bronze Medal of the 2011 FIVB World League, winning also the Best Scorer award. More recently, Kurek played on Gold Polish team from the 2012 FIVB World League, winning also the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.
