Poland without Wlazły and some other veterans in 2015

In 2015 we have a lot of interesting major competitions and one of the strongest teams in men’s volleyball - the one of the World Champions from Poland, of course calls our attention. The head coach of Poland Stephane Antiga has announced the roster of Poland for the upcoming campaign with the national team.

There are some big names missing in the list and this could surprise a lot some of the fans. In 2015 Mariusz Wlazły, Michał Winiarski, Krzysztof Ignaczak and Paweł  Zagumny won’t compete for Team Poland because of retirement. Also Lukasz Zygadlo and Zbigniew Bartman weren’t called up. However, Bartosz Kurek is back. Poland will take part in The FIVB World League, in the European Championship and the European Games.

Only spikers (opposites) are kind of a question mark in terms of quality, and a second setter. World League will probably be a testing ground because the season is deadly with WL, European Champs and World Cup tournaments.
