Does anyone know if there is a website like laola1.tv for the WL2011, where all the matches from the ECh are streamed live? Our local TV only shows the matches Russia participates in... thats definitely not enough for me?

Berruto about the teams in our pool:

Belgio: strong serve, strong attack, but most of all very agonistic spirit of the team in general.

Finland: there are few important personality that lead the team, first of all Mikko Esko that is actually the soul of the team, expecially from the tactical point of view, obviously. our goal will be understand him as much as possible to limit the hitters.

France: they are partially "new" for two reason: they have a new important player, Ngapeth, and they didn't perform very well at the WL, and when a good team doesn't perform well a the WL, there is always the need to proof his true value. Tecnichally, as always they express wonderful permormances in defense (and block-defense)

We... we are here hoping to surprise, to stay there until the 18th.
We did everything we wanted to did to prepare this ECh (the only little trouble was Zaytsev's injury), so now is the time to find out if it we planned these 5 weeks training in a way that will actually help the team. I'm proud that my guys enjoy being in this group and see the group as their best weapon. I like that, because the strenght of the group is smth everybody, even ifl expert about vb, can catch and love

First thing to note: The sport halls are SADLY EMPTY (right now). I supposed that so little advertising could lead to this result. Let's hope for the following games...
And France wins the 1st set of these e.c.

How are the matches going? At the moment Russia-Estonia 2:0, 2nd set was even until the late stage, some good serves of Mikhaylov made the difference.

Pastul, what is your problem and how do you want to deal with it? No one hates us like you do, even the people who dislike the team. Think about the amount of work done by Bulgarian users in this beautiful forum. What is your contribution - zero?

I think that usually neutral fans support theoretical weakness team and unexpected result is more exiting. It's first match, everything could happen, but it's shows that D group is very interesting and we could expect many emotions.

raylight, come on, take it easy

the fact i'm happy for slovakia's win doesn't mean i'm happy for bulgaria's lose..
slovakia trully needed and deserved that victory.

in other games probably bulgaria will get my support,it's just a game there's nothing personal

edit: for me it wasn't that surprising, they were getting prepared long and zealously, they took first two sets, everything's fare

I don't have problems with user supporting our opponents, it's ok and normal, Russians, Polish, Slovaks and Czechs to support each other, my problem is with Pastul who obviously has some very bad feeling against Bulgaria which he transfers on our volleyball team as they have done something to him. That hate I can not understand - these are sportsmen, no matter from which country, they should be respected even if you don't like them as persons

Bulgaria lose ;( what a big dissapoinment, well, this is for show us that in this champioship, weak team doesnt exis. Slovakia??, good for they... i think tonight they will make a naked party, because win over bulgaria is the most important thing that they make in the last years besides win the 2011 euroleague.

P.S raylight calm down dude, nothing is imposible just hard to do its all. remember this is only the begining.

Italy won 3-1 over Belgio!

That was an hard match, and even if of course I'm glad we won, I didn't like at all how we started the match and how we played the 3rd set, always letting them came back... they had like 4 set points!
And also in the third set we were leading 20-10 and let them score many points in a row... but it's ok, at the end we managed to won the 3rd set at that was really important, so we could won the match and took 3 points.
Best player: I'll say Zaytsev, because he was the most constant. The commentators said Savani, but at the biginning I didn't like him... while later he woke up?

About Belgium, many many compliments to Veerhes, it's seemed he was always on court, the other MB almost didn't exist and he was magically always there! Depestele did very nice sets, also to Verahnammen he play fast and short sets really effective. I liked so much also the libero, and Van der Dries that played well the first set. Later he was replaced by Van Walle that did good but nothing... out of order, if I can say that (wonderful ace on Zaytsev, tough!), at least I had this impression. Deroo contribuite very well when the coach let him join the court.
Best player: Veerhes. or Depestele

I feel sorry for Bulgaria, as a team I always support the most because of players like Matey and Vlado (sometimes even too much compared to our national), but it's an obligation to beat Slovakia if you think about winning the whole tournament (of course they still have chances).

Matey did what he could today but even his great game is not enough for a solid team like Slovakia. Bulgarian MB lack firepower, Zhekov lacks precision, unstable reception, i might say nothing new, as those are the most common problems in Team Bulgaria, but today... it was a really bad match. I can't even imagine quarterfinals without Bulgaria, that would be strange and sad.

I won't be so peimistic like You.
Of course we have big problems, but Zygadlo had some good moments (not only bad) and our spikers scored some points, but their performance is under expectations. I think we can get to the semifinal, but there would be strong teams that can take advantage of our weknesses.

I have to say I was like OMG, what's going on? Where is our block, where is our confident serve, where's the attack that leaves no chance to the opponent? I know our team can do much much better, but in the first two sets Slovakia was conducting the game.
Anyway, we started afresh in the third set but somehow Slovakia always disturbed us with their good attacks by their MBs. There were some pretty impressive long rallies too. And in the tie break....we had 3 match balls.
What has passed has passed. I know we will play our game tomorrow.

Fiore,I was thinking the same thing about our block, while I was watching the match- turns out we were better than them only on block and serve, and we only served well in the 3rd and 4th sets.I really don't have much to say,Michal's post said pretty much all there is to say...Thanks for the moral support,Michal.I've noticed you are a big fan of our team,I deeply appreciate it :)
