very nice movie! I like it, and as always I can't thank you enough for picking italian players to make movies

Now, my consideration about Dragan...

It is strange, because in Italy I saw people that adore him, or that don't like him.
I remember that before the WL I commented to a friend that I didn't like him much, and she answered that, instead, she did. Now is the opposite xD

I think - to mention a difect - he lacks of precision, at least in confront to Valerio (because in confront to Boninfante Dragan is THE precision xD). And I guess that's is what who wants Valerio back complain the most.

But he has many other qualities, and imo he fits well in Italian NT. And also in Macerata!
He is a fighter, and has a great enthusiasm. We all now how important his the attitude for a player, expecially if he is the setter. And that make him a quite good diggers, considering he is 2.00m tall.
He is usually enough lucid, I honestly like enough his distribuition. May be he overuses the opposite (or Savani) and sometime doesn't use enough the MBs, (other difect) but I noticed that he is improving a lot from this point of view. Having good MB in the team defintly helps.
Yesterday more than 30% of the sets were to MB. And I like his pipe too!
He is smart. He can do effective second touch, both "fast" touches and tips. He can attack.
He has a very effective serve, scoring many aces and putting the other team in trouble. It's not rare that he stays long on a serve run.
He is defintly helpful in block. It's a very useful thing not having a "hole" in the first line. And more than once he prevent the other team to smash a ball when we received on the other court, blocking it.

The last three points can be sinthetize as "he brings points and can create trouble the the opponents". Something that it's always useful!!!

And now he also has a plus, he is playing the whole season with two of our 4 OH, may be even 3 of 4, if we count Kovar
And with a very good coach, imo

I do really like this player and I'm so happy he joined the national team... He's a smart and talented setter, his game is very difficult to read. I'm sure he will improve his skills in the next years and become our leader,as Andrea Giovi said in a funny interview Anyway, the video is really good, great job NightFox

I think once we had the same conversation but for Lasko as I remember.. Dragan is what he feels he is.. If he feel he's italian, so he is..
Also he's very good player I should say so..

About Dragan's nationality: he was born in Zagabria (Croatia) but he's been living in Italy since he was 20 days old That's the reason why he considers himself 100% Italian. Recently in an interview he said that his origins are Croatian ad he's proud of that but he feels Italian 'cause he's spent all his life here: he thinks, speaks, dreams and writes (he has a blog-site and contributes with articles to many italian sports magazines and newspapers) in Italian. He's proud to play for Italy, he has never thought of any other NT he could play for...and when he wears Italy's shirt he feels like he has that shirt "sewn up on his skin" (i'm quoting his own words). For me he's Italian, and it's pretty evident when he opens his mouth and speaks...end of the story.

I like this guy… I mean, he’s so kind! He’s definitely one of the nicest players, outside the court, I’ve ever known. I’ve got a lovely memory of him and his kindness with fans and supporters (especially with me haha) after WL’s match against France in PalaCatania last Summer.
Talking about him as a setter: he has improved so much in the last 2 years and he can do better and better… no doubt about that! IMO Vermiglio is still superior in terms of experience (no wonder since Valero is 10 years older than Dragan), ball-control skill and, mainly, defence. BUT I like Drago pretty much; he’s the best setter we have at the moment. He sometimes reminds me of Peter Blangé, mainly when blocking (although Drago’s service is a bit better and more powerful than Blangé’s one); and similarity between them is even clearer to me when I see Travica setting for Lasko or one of his OH…don’t know why, but reminds me of Peter and Zwerver (Ron, of course) or Peter and Van der Meulen … perhaps my alter-ego here, Henrique , may say something more about that.
The only thing I don’t like of Travica is that he often tends to “forget” about his MB, ignoring them too many times during a match and insisting only on opposite and spikers. In that, he differs from Blangé who, instead, used to play with Posthuma or Held a lot more than Drago does with Bira/Buti or Mastro or Fei.
But, in the end, I like him …and, if I can be absolutely honest with you, the reason why I like this boy the most, is because he’s constantly at war against his shaver, razor and shaving foam (as well as his brother-in-law)!
Thanx NightFox

probably he's the best setter in Italy for now. but he also has moments when he's lost and doesn't know what to do

Kjeldhor, Zlatanov is born in Sofia and live until his teens here, he went in Italy after CSKA refused to take him to train with them. Vencislav Simeonov is born in Plovdiv. They are not like Travica or Zaytsev, they should have been ours
