Middle blocker Yang Junjing scored 14 points and Zhu Ting added 13 as world runners-up China beat Dominican Republic 3:0 for their sixth win in a row at the 2015 FIVB Women’s World Cup. With the 25:16, 25:17 and 25:19 victory, the Chinese women stayed in contention of the title and the tickets to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. China have now won all three World Cup encounters against Dominican Republic and improved to an 8-1 win-loss record in the 12-team round robin tournament. China coach Jenny Lang Ping said: "We were well prepared relatively speaking. Our block and defense was good. We want to become better at reading the flow of the game. The pressure is building with each match. We will play Russia tomorrow and want to play to our full potential".
