Kjeldhor presents only best spikes, serves and blocks in battle between Copra Piacenza and Lube Banca Macerata. Great battle with the happy end for Piacenza. The game in the "PalaBanca" was surely dramatic, full of long actions and change of leadership. Team from Macerata in tie-break was leading 10:8, 12:9. However, Luca Vettori and Denis Kaliberda played nice game and Piacenza won 20:18 in tie-break. Vettori ended that game by a great ace serve! MVP award received Luciano De Cecco. Ivan Zaytsev with 24 points was the best player in Macerata. Lube lost first game in Italian League 2013/14. Lube is current leader of Serie A and Copra is on the second place.

Hi i check the stats at http://www.legavolley.it/ and... simon have 31 bloks in this season there are only few guys better then him. he have 77.5% in attack ? kurek can play better but at stats he have 58.6% in attack best for now if you are looking at spiker... sorry for my eng . cya?

Well, Simon is doing His job like spike, spike, ace, spike and some block, Kurek is getting confidence with our Championship but in my opinion he still make to much errors

@Kjeldhor: la musica è un filo "lugubre" ti pare? Sarà che non esco pazza per i Carmina Burana... anyway, the service made the difference Yesterday: Piacenza was more effective and consistent than Lube. Great match, lots of beautiful rallies and a bit of magic by Il Mago De Cecco. Lovely!

@pearl: "...a bit of magic by Il Mago De Cecco". He was the MVP, played like his best days. Hope to see De Cecco playing great this whole season.

@HCLT: as i alredy said to Pearl, this season Lucio is playing so much better, he stopped to make always the hardest thing just because he can, now his gamplay is very efficacy

@Kjeldhor and HCLT: Luciano is playing well and I also hope he'll go on doing this way, yet I've noticed that his performance still tends to decrease a bit after the first two sets; dunno if it was just my impression but his game distribution in in 3rd and 4th sets wasn't so consistent as in the previous 2 allowing Lube to recover and re-open the match. The tie-break was sorted out by Vettori's and Simon's great services.

@pearl: professional observation by Pearl here. What do you think about Zaytsev?

@HCLT: I really liked the combination between him and Simon in that match
