Canada beat Cuba in three sets for the second night in a row to remain perfect in Group C. In Calgary, Gavin Schmitt was again the star leading all scorers for the second successive evening, this time with 19 points. Gordon Perrin scored 12 points for Canada and says things are building well for them. "It’s good to get two 3-0 wins because that’s not what usually happens in the first leg of World League - usually you split because both teams are a little rusty. But we escaped with two big wins and it’s starting to come together", Perrin said.
