Brazil beat Poland 3:0 (25:23, 29:27, 25:19) in 1st World League game in this week. MVP of game was Felipe Fonteles who scored 16 points (5 aces). Polish national team without three important players played match against Brazil. Mariusz Wlazły, Michał Winiarski and Piotr Nowakowski stayed at home. Poland coach Stephane Antiga was disappointed with the result but took heart from the way his team’s performance. "I am proud with the way our team played", he added. "We have a young team because many of our players have injuries. It was the first time that our players played in this kind of atmosphere. We had our chances today and I think we will play better tomorrow".
