Belgium - Germany (Highlights)

Germany delivered a superb performance in their playoff match up with Belgium to move on to the quarterfinals of the EuroVolley and play there hosts Bulgaria for a remake of the game that opened the tournament in Sofia. Sam Deroo and Georg Grozer scored 17 points each for Belgium and Germany, respectively, to top the charts of the match. Vital Heynen, coach of Germany said: "We started very well. In the second set they had a chance to come back into the game, but did not do it. And in the third set we played very well again. This was a good performance for us against Belgium and we did not lose too much energy before tomorrow. I think that Bulgaria showed that they are better than us. Last time they were clearly better. Now we can find some solutions. Maybe we will be closer to them, maybe not. Last time they did not give us a chance. Now we will try to take our chance, but it will be hard in front of 12,300 people. But if we thought that we have no chance, it would be better not to come to the hall at all tomorrow".
