Movie presents Beach Volleyball World Championships 2013 which were held in Stare Jabłonki. The pair Alexander Brouwer and Robert Meeuwsen became the first Dutch team to win a World Championships medal when they beat Ricardo Santos and Alvaro Filho in the final game. One of the tallest and youngest beach volleyball teams in the world were the pleasant surprise of the ninth World Championship, held in the small, but vivid Polish village Stare Jablonki. In the the final of women's tournament in the World Championships, players from China: Chen Xue and Zhang Xi defeated 2:1 Germans Britta Buthe and Karla Borger. The awarding ceremony reflected the great diversity seen throughout the tournament. With Paraguay, Thailand and Vanuatu making their debuts in at the FIVB World Championships, the flags raised in time with the anthems came from three different continents. Poland has an extensive history of hosting beach volleyball events with the Myslowice Open and the Mazury Orlen Grand Slam in Stare Jablonki having been regular tournaments on the World Tour. It has also hosted the 2011 FIVB Volleyball World League Finals in Gdansk and will host the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship in 2014.
