well, theoretically, the one who comes with the idea should be the first (and that would be me) :D
but isn't there any brave knight to take the challenge?
haha, SkyloIoannes, I've got an idea: we should have a topic with videos of us on this site, so that everyone can hear our accents, not in order to humiliate someone (we don't have to care about how correct is someone's English, we aren't here to judge each other), but to have a look at the differences between our cultural background (each country has its own accent, right?). probably everyone would like to speak like a Briton, but we forget that the accent makes us special, unique from the cultural point of view
He has a bad English? After the match Russia - Brazil on Laola was an interview with Muserskiy. He's just bad English. I do not see a problem, players have to play and do not beatiful speak English.
raylight I've got confirmed data and it will be change soon for example on wikipedia (they allready changed his weight from 87 kg to 107 kg). Probably in the end of this week everything should be ok on polish Wikipedia. This data 352 cm and 87 kg is from 2005 (6 years before and all the time copy in stupid way).
Buziak_PL,...but it could've been worse :)Trust me I've been amazed by a lot of volleyball players poor English. It's both surprising and not .I mean even though English is generally considered to be an international language,I don't think they use it that much, you know, may be passing a player from another NT in the hall at some arena you say "Hi",after a match giving an interview for laola(I can't think of another English broadcasting channel right now)and that's it :)Think about it - the best players play in Italy,Russia or their nation's league is strong enough,so they stay at home.I bet even Ball and Priddy don't use English as much as they'd like :)
About Kurek,he's definitely the future of the polish NT,I wish him luck!
P.S.I didn't know it before watching the video, but even without hearing it from him,I could have sworn he's a volleyball baby :)You can always see when someone was made/build for this sport.
